Eye Of the Night - Plummy Purples

I did this somewhat cut crease look the other night. Hope you guys like it.

Lid - Pale pink from Wet n wild quad
Crease - left side of palette 2nd one down mixed with a little NYX Morocco
Outer V- Ardell matte black brow shadow
Liner - BE Buxom gel liner
Mascara -  L'oreal Collagen
Highlight - Creamy nude matte
Brows - MAC brun shadow
Lower liner - Prestige waterproof retractable liner

I think Wet n' Wild makes the best matte shadows, especially for a drugstore brand. Do any of you have this palette?

NYE 2012!!

With 2012 almost here I want to take some time to reflect on 2011. There were many up's and down's like every other year, but in 2012 there are many things I would like to change for myself. I want to be more organized and more patient and I would like to work harder to build my friendships with many people that I've met in 2011. Sometimes, we are too busy racing through life to stop and realize that it's the little things that are important.

My plans for tonight is going to a friends place for a house party first and then we are heading to metro for the NYE party
We got VIP bracelets for this event so it's all you can drink aaall night baby!

For my makeup I plan on doing a look similar to this with MAC's platinum pigment and maybe a little bit of MAC's 3D glitter over it. What better time to sparkle than for NYE?

For my outfit I'm wearing a blue one shoulder dress with antiqued gold details at the top with antiqued accessories and nude heels. For my hair, I plan on curling it.

What are your plans for NYE?

Quicky Glitter Look

Here's a super quick 5 min look I did to try out the glitter and Wet n' Wild Fantasy Makers Palette I bought recently. You can see that post here . I used the white from the Fantasy Makers Palette on the lower lid and pressed the glitter onto it w/ a dense brush. For the black, I used the blk from the palette and applied some matte black shadow over it. The glitter is more finely milled than MAC's 3D silver glitter so It doesn't show up quite as sparkly, but for $2.99 I'm really pleased with it.
