Out my Comfort Zone + Bonus

The other day Jason and I went shopping at one of my favorite stores, TjMaxx. I came across these patterned leggings and just had to try them on. I usually hate patterned anything, but for some reason I was really liking these and figured I would pair it with a long button down black chiffon shirt which I already have and my black Michael Kors sandals.
I sent Jason a pic of them when I was in the fitting room and he responded back asking me if they were for Halloween lol. Typical guy, what the hell does he know haha. I got them anyway.

I went to the eye doctor for a routine exam and thought to maybe get glasses. I have really bad vision, -7.00 and -7.25. Yeah, I'm leagally blind without contacts lol. If I get glasses I have to get the special condensed lens otherwise the lens would be as thick as bullet proof glass! Not cute, I thought these frames were nice, but I didn't like the thick arm part so I passed on them. (Don't mind the crazy hair lol)

I've been loving loud nail colors this season, this one here especially. It's by Sally Hanson and it's called Mellow Yellow, but there is nothing mellow about it, it looks neon!

I jumped on the cell phone plug charm bandwagon and HAD to have this Celine bag charm. It's so cute and I got it at a really good price, but it's a pain in the ass dangling from my phone like that and it gets in the way of my phone camera everytime. I took it off after 2 days and will probably just hang it on one of my handbags or something.

BONUS For Memorial Day: Free shipping on any purchase of $30 or more in my Etsy shop now till Monday 6/27 at Midnight EST. Use code freeship30

Do you have any phone charms? I will probably get the little jeweled one that sits on top of the phone next time.

C&C Collection on Etsy + Coupon Code!

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I've started my own Etsy shop. I've stated in a previous post that I was planning on doing it and I decided to just go for it. I was deliberating for about a year and only making jewelery as a hobby so I decided to go the more serious route and actually open up a store on etsy. In the past I mainly made earrings and bracelets and now I'm focusing more on bracelets and necklaces. Since the stuff I'm mostly making is with chains and crystals I figured I would name the store C&C Collection. Check out my store if you have some time.

Here are some of the pieces I've made.

Lexi- Gold and Silver Layering Chains                              The Parisian - Tri Tiered chain necklace

My first order to a co-worker :). These will be in the shop soon.

The Hampton - Rose gold necklace

Use coupon code FFL15 to save 15% on you purchase of $50 or more now through 6/24!

Oh Hey Saints Payers!

Ah yes, it feels good to go out again, hang with friends and do a little dancing. I work every Saturday so by the time I get off I'm tired and just want to stay home and watch a movie. Since I only worked half a day this past Saturday I though I would got out for a bit.

My girl, Jessica

Alice in Wonderland shots. If you haven't had 'em your missing out! It's 1 part Southern Comfort, 1 part Amaretto and 1 part Grand Marnier. Whatever you do, don't have more than 2! It sneaks up on you.

The boys
Gotta get that classy bathroom shot lol

Pics with New Orleans Saints players! So awesome cause I'm a huge fan, especially of the Saints. They had a VIP section 5 feet away from us. Chris Ivory is on the left, unfortunately he got traded. The Saints are retarded for not keeping him. He's a beast on the field and plays with so much heart. I told him that too that night. Unfortunately, I don't know who the guy on the right is =(.

Do any of you watch football? Have you ever met any of the guys from your team?

Sunday Funday~Being a Tourist in My Own City

Jason and I had some friends in town from St. Louis, since some of them have never been down here we thought we would go to the French Quarter for brunch, drinks and sightseeing.

Local artists line these gates with tons of artwork. The pictures behind me are all originals donw in pencil and  technical pens. It was really amazing stuff.
Brunch at the Court of Two Sisters. This place is pretty famous and a must see when visting the city. Prepare your wallet though, it's really expensive.
It was $100 for Jason and I for the buffet and mimosas.

The heart of the French Quarter. A great place to people watch, get your palms read or check out some art.

This dog has been making his way around FB. His owner said this is how he sleeps. He takes him to the park which is right next to this area to kinda tire him out a bit and he sleeps in this position for a couple of hours. He was adorable, you can even pet him. I had to give this guy a dollar since I'm a huge dog lover.
One of the many alley ways in the city.

Pat O'Brien's. Definitely a must see place to go. Yep, that's my friend wiping bird poop off her shirt lol. The funny thing is, they had a couple right next to us throwing popcorn at the birds. I had just made a comment that it's all fun and games till someone gets pooped on and literally 2 minutes later my friend got pooped on!
Cafe Du Monde, we didn't stop by there since we already ate.
These drinks are called Shark Attacks. If your ever in the city you have to stop by Tropical Isle and get one. They made a huge show of it. When you order it. They sound an alarm, ring a bell, fog machines go off, the music gets interuped and a deep voice comes over the speaker saying it's, "it's a shark attack!" The sharks mouth is filled with this red simple syrup like stuff and then they stick the shark into the srink head first so it looks like blood is coming out. It was so fun to order this cause the group we were with had no idea what was going on and everyone at the bar just watches lol.

The hubs and I in front of the St. Louis Cathedral

Have any of you ever been to New Orleans?

Made in America...Not me, the Beer

A couple weekends ago we got invited by my husband's friend to go to the Budwieser Made in America Party. They had the rapper/dj Too Fresh spinning that night and had free food and drinks as well. Unfortunatly the free drinks was beer only. I couldn't even buy a mixed drink because they weren't allowed to serve it. I can say it was one of the first times I've ever left a club completely sober lol.

Me and my honey

This chair was so cool looking that I had to have a pic on it. It was black velvet and had these large crystal buttons on it. I would love it for my house.

They gave out these Ray Ban type sunglasses if you showed the Budwieser girls your tweet tagging the party.  I peeled off the stickers after the event and use the sunglasses now.

This was taken on the way to the car.
