I finally decided I would make the splurge and buy myself something from Chanel. I definitely did not need another setting powder, but since it's something that I use everyday I figured it wouldn't go to waste.
Actually when you think about it, this Chanel powder is a better deal than the MAC Prep and Prime powder which I have too. The MAC powder is $24 for 8grams. The Chanel powder is $52 for 30. When you think about it, the MAC powder come out to $3 a gram and the Chanel is only $1.73 a gram!
I really love this powder. It's extremely finely milled and you just need the smallest amount to set your liquid foundation. It feels so light and soft, even softer and silkier than the MAC prep and prime loose powder. I got this one in #3 and I believe it goes up to #4, being the darkest. I've been using it for 2 weeks and I don't have any complaints. It does exactly what I want it to do and it looks so pretty sitting on my makeup desk. Even with daily use I think it will take me more than a year to finish it so it's a great deal for the money.
Have any of you tried this powder? What's your favorite setting powder?
