I absolutly love Balenciaga handbags, but I would never drop $2000 on a handbag, ever! Usually I'm totally against knock off purses, I think they look tacky and cheap and most of the time you can totally tell it's a fake. I am willing to make an exception this one time though. Pictured below is the bronze Balenciaga look-a-like. I think it's a pretty good one too. What do you think?

I have that exact bag from shopsueyboutique! Well, in the black version.
ReplyDeleteI got mine when it was on sale for $40something.. I must say I was a bit disappointed with the feel of the bag (as far as the material it is made out of), and the studs were a bit bigger than I had anticipated. But it is better than any other look-alike I have seen! And for $30 can you really complain? haha

I wouldn't have known this was a knockoff AT ALL. It looks like a gorgeous leather bag. I too HATE the obvious monogram fakes, like LV, Gucci, etc. But this Balenciaga look alike is REALLY nice =) Are you getting one?

ReplyDeleteKim, I know! This is the is the best knock off I've seen. I bought it b/c it was on sale for $30 so I figured if I didn't like it it wouldn't be a huge waste. Bethany mentioned the quality isn't so great so I'm a little worried. I'll do a post when it comes in :)
